Watch how our Consulting Pharmacist works with a typical employee off work to help them feel better and return to work faster.

How the program works

Your Case Manager will determine if MedCheckUp would benefit you and refer you.

During this first call, the Consulting Pharmacist will ask you questions such as:
  • What medications and vitamins do you take?
  • How is your medication working for you?
  • How do you feel when taking your medications?
  • Are you having any side effects or problems with your medications?
  • What are your health goals?

The Consulting Pharmacist will review the information you shared and prepare a plan that identifies areas for improvement and manages any side effects or problems you have with your medications

The Consulting Pharmacist will share their plan and suggestions with you, and if needed, with your doctor, community pharmacist or other healthcare professionals. Together you will decide what steps to take.

The Consulting Pharmacist may follow up with you to see how you are doing with your medications.

All information shared and discussions with the Consulting Pharmacist are confidential.  The Consulting Pharmacist does not share any information with your employer.
