Jeff May Jeff May President

Jeff May is the leader of HumanisRx and Remedy Holdings Inc. which operates 18 retail pharmacies under the Remedy’sRx Banner program as well as 10 Remedy’sRx Specialty Pharmacies that service long-term care, assisted and independent living facilities and group homes in Ontario, Alberta, and B.C.

Jeff is a passionate pharmacy leader with years of experience in clinical pharmacy, community pharmacy, and executive pharmacy leadership. Jeff has held senior executive positions at Shoppers Drug Mart and Target Canada. 

Jeff has a legacy of contributions to industry organizations such as the Alberta College of Pharmacists, the National Association of Pharmacy Regulatory Authorities, the Ontario Pharmacists Association and the Neighbourhood Pharmacy Association of Canada.

Jeff’s vision is to leverage the expertise of our pharmacists to expand our contribution to the sustainability of health care in Canada.  He believes that HumanisRx has the opportunity to innovate in ways that pharmacy has not done so before to improve the lives of Canadians.

Jeff is an avid cyclist and strives to be a better hockey player in his spare time. 

Karen Crone Karen Crone National Director, Health Care Innovation

Karen Crone is a licensed Pharmacist and MBA graduate with extensive experience in the health care industry, which includes community, long term care and hospital settings. Her background is in executive leadership, operations, clinical programming, sales and marketing.

Karen’s current focus is leading the HumanisRx team in the design and delivery of new programs and innovative business solutions that pioneer the core competencies of our Pharmacists in managing medications and improving health. Karen is passionate about patient care and the untapped role of Pharmacists in Canadian healthcare.

Karen also holds certificates in the study of wine tasting, and in her free time she travels to wine regions around the globe to further her studies.

Natalle Chan Natalle Chan Consulting Pharmacist

Natalle Chan is a licensed Pharmacist and Doctorate of Pharmacy (PharmD) graduate with experience in community pharmacy, hospital pharmacy, and pharmacy management. She is interested in helping Canadians optimize health outcomes through innovative technology solutions.

Natalle is currently part of the HumanisRx team in building clinical programs that ensure Canadians are receiving optimal treatment while reducing the risk of adverse events and drug interactions. She continues to practice in the community setting and mainly serves the geriatric population in managing their chronic illnesses. Natalle speaks fluent English and Cantonese.

In her spare time, Natalle enjoys music composition on the piano and eating her way around the city as a foodie adventurer.

Van Luong Van Luong Manager, Information Technology

Van Luong is an IT professional with over 13 years of software development, system administration and leadership experience providing strategic directions for corporate technologies.  

Van was a Director of IT for a successful start-up that provided an effective communication tool for healthcare provider.

Van enjoys building his CNC machines and 3D printers in his spare time and creating better performance versions with each iteration.
